The newest
tankless water heater in the Takagi
family is called the Flash T-K Jr. The
Flash T-K Jr operates with high
performance in a tiny package.
Refinements incorporated into the T-K Jr
include a computer modulating gas valve
to allow for two simultaneous
applications at once.
Despite
the small size, the Flash T-K2 has a
maximum flow rate of 5.8gpm,
making it ideal for residential
water heating.
The Flash
T-K Jr can fit into tight spots that
could never accommodate a full size water
heater. Weighing in at only 30 lbs, it
measures only 20 inches high by 14 inches
wide by 6 inches deep. It's small size
allows it to be installed in a variety of
locations, indoors or outdoors.
The
thermal efficiency of the Flash T-K Jr is
over 83% using natural gas and 84% on
propane gas with low NOx emission to meet
AQMD (Air Quality Management District)
regulation.
This is
far superior to the conventional water
heater efficiency. Because the T-K Jr is
more efficient, it uses less fuel and is
therefore more cost efficient to operate
and environmentally friendly.
