What is Lime-scale?
Most areas suffer from
some degree of water hardness. This is caused by
dissolved salts of calcium and magnesium. These
can be beneficial to our health and give water a
pleasant spring taste. Unfortunately, when the
water pass through our hot water system,
deposits are released and adhere to the surface
of pipes, kettles, heaters and boilers. This
lime-scale builds up over the years, slowly
blocking pipes, reducing flow and efficiency of
the whole water system, This leads to increasing
energy costs and eventually causing the pipes
and appliances to fail.
How the Mineral Manager Works:
A programmed computer chip
constantly cycles to induce over 200 different
electromagnetic low frequency wave pulses into
the water. These pulses provide a super field of
highly magnetic energy. Hard water ( water with
high amounts of dissolved salts) flowing through
this super field becomes electrically charged
and polarizes the salt molecules. This combats
the deposition inside the water pipes and
prevents the effects of scaling and clogging
without altering the taste or health benefits of
the water.
Even in water systems that
have been built up with scale from years of
deposits, the Mineral Manager can help. First,
by preventing further lime-scale being deposited
and second by by the polarized molecules flowing
past the lime-scale. They release their charge
(helping to dissolve the salts back into the
water) which is then washed away through the
system.
Where to Install the Mineral Manager:
The Mineral Manager can be
fit to your standard 1/2", 3/4" or 1 " cold
water inlet pipe. This is usually located near
your main water valve in a basement or kitchen.
(Note: the Mineral Manager must never be
installed to a hot water pipe, heat will damage
the unit.)
