Limited Warranty
This limited warranty
gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights that may vary from state to state or
according to other conditions.
General Limited Warranty
Covered The Takagi
Industrial Co. USA Inc. Limited Warranty for tankless
water heaters will be honored for the original retail
purchaser only. Any transfer of ownership from the
original retail purchaser to any third party will void
the Takagi Industrial Co. USA Inc. limited warranty. The
Limited Warranty will cover any tankless water heater
which fails in normal use and within the applicable
periods specified below following the terms of this
warranty.
The Parts Warranty
If the parts except heat exchanger fail within
Twenty-four (24) months after original installation
following the installation manual and normal operation,
Takagi Industrial Co. USA, Inc. will furnish a
replacement part(s).
The Heat Exchanger Warranty If the heat
exchanger fails within Seven (7) years after the
original installation following installation the manual
and normal operation, Takagi Industrial Co. USA, Inc.
will furnish a replacement heat exchanger, excluding
field labor and servicing.
Will be not Covered this Warranty

Any unit that is not
installed by a licensed plumber and/or electrician
and/or contractor.

To defects and/or
malfunctions from failure to properly install,
operate and/or maintain the unit in accordance with
the installation manual.

To damage from
abuse, fire, flood, freeze, and any other act of
God.

To damage resulting
from unauthorized alterations, attachments and/or
repairs.

Failure occurs due
to the water heater being operated in a corrosive
and/or contaminated environment, and/or the water
heater is not supplied with potable water and/or the
water heater is supplied with abnormal water quality
and/or gas supply is not within accordance to
Uniform Plumbing Code specifications and/or gas
pressure range as specified in the instruction
manual.

To damage from
installing the unit in a freezing environment
without the proper freeze protection as specified in
the instruction manual.

To damage from
condensation due to extensive exhaust vent length
and/or not following the instruction manual.

To damage from gas
pressure/firing rates greater than those on the
rating plate.

To damage from not
being installed in accordance with all applicable
local codes, ordinances and good trade practices.

Failure occurs due
to not operating the unit within the factory
calibrated temperature limits.

If converted or any
attempt to operate with a different gas type than
that stated on the rating plate.

Good industry
practices by following the installation manual
provided to the buyer with the sale of the water
heater.
