You can use the LAM1700 to redirect heat into an
area that isn't a
living space. The vent of the gas dryer not only
expels heat and moisture but also any carbon
monoxide. The burner mechanics are not set up
like vent less gas room heaters that have oxygen
sensors that will turn off the unit if there is
not enough oxygen. Gas dryers do not come
with this option.
To error on the side of caution we have it on
the web page not for use
with gas dryers. Check with your owner's manual
in regards to venting would be the safest
